Igor Lazarev is a Bonn/Germany-based guitarist with a lot to offer: Starting out as a 10 year-old kid in Jaroslawl/Soviet Russia, he followed his passion for the melodic soloing of George Harrison, Ritchie Blackmore, Jimmy Page, and David Gilmour. At 25, he was intrigued by the speed and energy of masters like Yngwie Malmsteen, Eddie van Halen, Steve Vai, or Joe Satriani. When he finally got into the clever compositions and soulful playing of Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Pat Martino, Wes Montgomery, Scott Henderson, Mike Stern, or Miles Davis, Igor had become a full musician himself.
His academic stations were the Music and Arts School at Jaroslawl as well as the Conservatorium Maastricht/The Netherlands.
Igor is a much-asked studio guitarist, having played on 15 published albums to the day. Countless gigs and concerts of all kinds of music featured him on the six strings. Get in touch, if you can imagine to be supported by Igor on the record or onstage.
Teaching and giving lessons is a good part of his professional life. If you are interested in Bonn-located guitar lessons – be it as a newbee or advanced player, in English, German or Russian –, please contact Igor Lazarev under ++49 177 – 42 99 99 4 or igor(at)lazarev(dot)de.
